I would get the E model since it's newer, but a slim would do just fine. I'd say go for either an xbox Slim Or Elite. And i recommend you buy a new one as there's a chance the person that used it before you has been console banned meaning what ever profile you use it won't work. The elite does has have some better things over the slim like a better cooling system but to be honest i don't think it's worth the extra money.
And make sure that the xbox you do get has the hard drive aswell. No chance of it being XBL banned and it will also come with a warranty.
